KPI Dashboard App Privacy Policy

Silver Fox Business Services (“Silver Fox”) provides the KPI Dashboard App to client organizations for business reporting. This policy explains how the app handles information from clients and their authorized connections.
Information the app handles
The app may process:
Account and connection information, such as a client company identifier, authorized user information, and tokens needed to maintain an approved connection. Silver Fox does not ask for or store a client’s QuickBooks password.
Financial and operational information selected for the dashboard, such as vendor names, bill numbers, due dates, unpaid balances, sales, payouts, labor measures, cash balances, and related reporting dates.
Information the client or Silver Fox enters into the dashboard, including assumptions and notes.
Limited technical information needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the app, such as refresh times and error records.
Data may come from QuickBooks, Toast, client-provided records, and other services the client chooses to connect. A banking connection, including Plaid, will be used only if enabled and authorized. The information processed for a particular client depends on its dashboard and connected services.
How information is used
Silver Fox uses this information to create and refresh client dashboards, calculate reports, provide support, maintain connections, investigate errors, protect the app, and meet applicable legal obligations. Silver Fox does not sell client financial data or use it for targeted advertising.
Where information is stored and who can access it
The dashboard uses Google Sheets and Google Apps Script to process and store selected report data and connection information. Access to a dashboard depends in part on the sharing settings of its Google file. Silver Fox personnel who need the information to provide the service, and people authorized by the client, may access it. Service providers involved in an authorized connection or in operating the dashboard may process information for those purposes.
Silver Fox uses access controls appropriate to the service and limits access to people who need it. Clients should promptly tell Silver Fox if a dashboard has been shared with someone who should no longer have access.
Disconnection, retention, and deletion
A client can revoke a source connection through the source provider and can contact Silver Fox to request disconnection or deletion. Disconnection stops future retrieval from that source; it does not automatically erase figures already copied into a dashboard.
Silver Fox will delete copies of the affected client data under its control within 30 days after the client disconnects the source or ends the dashboard service, unless a written agreement or legal obligation requires longer retention. A Google Sheet owned and retained by the client remains under the client’s control. Silver Fox will restrict any information it must retain to the reason for that retention.
Requests and changes
Clients may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information under Silver Fox’s control by emailing info@silverfoxbusiness.com. Silver Fox may update this policy when the app or its data practices change and will notify affected clients of material changes before applying them.
